1. Product Description

The OSYsSis used to monitor the open position of an OS&Y(outside screw and yoke) type gate valve. These switch-es mount conveniently to most OS&Y valves ranging in size from 2" to 12" (50mm to 300mm). They will mount onsome valves as smallas 1/2" (12.5mm). The cover is held inplace by two tamper resistantscrews that require aspecialtool to remove. The tool is furnished with each device.

A:The valve stem lifts the trip rod out of the groove to activate the internal switches; the OSYSS shall be actuated within the first two revolutions of the valve wheel when turning it toward the closed position. The switch will not restore after the valve is fully closed.
