At present, the A-type center line butterfly valve, as a component used to realize the on-off and flow control of the pipeline system, has been widely used in many fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, and hydropower. In the known butterfly valve technology, its sealing form mostly adopts a sealing structure, and the sealing material is rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. The following will take you to understand its pre-installation preparations and installation steps.

Preparations before installation:
1. The manufacturer of A-typed center line butterfly valve tells you to check whether the specifications and materials of the butterfly valve conform to the design before installation.
2. Before installation, clean up the internal sand, dust, foreign matter and debris, so as not to cause malfunction or leakage.
3. Before installation, the relevant piping should be properly suspended and fixed according to the regulations, so as to avoid improper stress on the valve after installation.
4. The two flange faces of the piping must be parallel and concentric.
5. There is no need to install additional gaskets between the butterfly valve and the flange during installation.
6. The manufacturer of A-typed center line butterfly valve tells you that where the butterfly valve is close to the check valve or the pump, a gradual expansion joint is used between the two, so that the rotation of the valve disc switch will not be hindered.
installation steps:
1. The A-typed center line butterfly valve manufacturer tells you to open the valve disc 10 degrees before installation. (same before disassembly)
2. Set the auxiliary screw at the appropriate position to adjust the distance between the two flanges.
3. Insert the butterfly valve without contacting the two flanges and penetrate the rest of the bolts at the same time.
4. After confirming that the center of the butterfly valve is concentric with the center of the flange and the switch position of the valve disc is not hindered by the inner diameter of the flange or adjacent parts, tighten each bolt repeatedly in a diagonal progressive manner until the flange surface touches the end surface of the valve body.
5. The A-typed center line butterfly valve manufacturer tells you that you should reconfirm the full opening and closing degrees after the installation is completed.
